Robotics with fischertechnik

You program the fischertechnik TXT 4.0 controller with ftrobopy – real Python. Every program runs right away in the browser on a simulated TXT with a control panel. The code comes from the book “Python for Robots” (part 3).

    Run an XS motor forwards and backwards with setSpeed() · Drive an exact distance in encoder pulses with setDistance() · Wait with finished() until a movement is complete

    Switch lamps on O1 to O8 on and off and dim them · Read a button on an I input · Understand the reversed logic of state() (0 = pressed)

    Detect with the line tracker whether a line is under the sensor · Measure brightness as a voltage in mV with the phototransistor · Collect readings in a list and analyse them
